Education Opportunities
At Cathmor we believe that the correct education or training opportunities are key factors in the young peoples’ successful development. We understand our responsibilities in the pathway for young people and we support them to build the foundations for their future. We look at the needs of each individual young person and finding the right educational or training option that suits their aspirations is key to this.
Cathmor Workbook
Each young person has a bespoke independence program which is developed and designed with their cooperation. This program covers basic every day tasks, health and safety issues, and aims to provide the young people with a range of domestic, practical and social skills, that will support their progression to independent living.
All our programs are ASDAN accredited, and the young people can pick from a wide range of topics that suit their individual needs.
Leisure, sport and cultural activities
Cathmor encourage all our young people to engage in individual activities to support their ethnic, cultural, and leisure pursuits, and also to develop new interests.
Our key workers will support the young peoples’ participation, which again will move them closer to independence.
